Fullsteam Pleasantly Surprised at DCVB Visitors Guide Cover

"Thank you so much for placing Fullsteam on the recent edition of the Visitor’s Guide.  It was such an amazing and unexpected surprise.  My entire team is very honored.  But beyond this great honor, I want to express my deepest appreciation for the grace, class and hospitality to express to all…whether they live across the globe or nine miles down the road.  You make us so proud.”

Writer Lauds DCVB's Poley as a Go-To Guy

"In the course of 15 plus years I have worked with many tourism, marketing, and other folks in the business of promoting cities and towns across the U.S. Without a question, Sam Poley in the Durham CVB is the best in North Carolina and in the top 5 I have worked with in the Southeast. Sam is never too busy to respond and is usually one of the “first responders” when I put out my 411 emails. Once, he even took my call while trying to get out the door to vacation – I think his children were waiting on him or either he took the call while on vacation, which would not surprise me. I would not want to write an article about Durham without talking to Sam to first.  For the best scoop in town, he is the Go-To Guy."

"The NC League staff was absolutely thrilled with the welcome boxes (including the surprise local beer).  Fantastic job...The League staff was equally complimentary on the excellent [Convention Center] facility, staff and preparedness. They loved the food – best of all the events statewide...they rated Durham as the best experience. Fantastic work and thanks to all.  I am so proud of the product that we offer."
