Durham Wayfinder appreciates The Durham Bull-etin

"Very interesting Bull-etin this week. Short, pithy and easily digested. Good job! As one of those 3100 Wayfinder volunteers, I appreciate the recognition of our value."

Durham Wayfinders Help American Red Cross

"I wanted to celebrate a success and recognize someone that has helped on the volunteer recruitment front! Carolyn Carney of the Durham Wayfinders forwarded out my urgent request for volunteers in our high-need positions yesterday morning, and already EIGHT people emailed for more information and about 5 completed applications!"

Carolina Theatre Guest Appreciates Wayfinders

I just wanted to tell you how accommodating and kind your volunteers and staff were at the Arlo Guthrie concert. They were all so considerate.   Also, when the volunteers had to tell people not to record or take pictures, they were very nice about it.  Thank you for getting such great helpers!

Museum of Life + Science Loves Durham Wayfinders

"The volunteers are kind, enthusiastic people who love Durham.  They demonstrate a much higher level of reliability than volunteers recruited independently for single events.  They are smart and learn quickly and are willing to do whatever needs to be done.  It’s like having a private army of help that I can mobilize whenever I need!"

Museum of Life and Science Thankful for Volunteers

Happy New Year!  I wanted to let you know that we were overwhelmed (in a good way!) with the quantity and quality of volunteers we got for Santa Train from the Wayfinders.  They were outstanding, particularly those who kept coming back the last week.  I really appreciate the CVB hosting Shiftboard to make it possible and your help spreading the word.  Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you all and thanks again for being such a fabulous resource!

DCVB's Wayfinders Training a Great Help for Blues Festival

"I just wanted to take this time to thank you so much for all of your support, providing me with helpful information that I needed, e-blasting the notices that I needed to circulate to all volunteers as well as spending extra time helping me to find solutions to any problems that occurred.  It was a great overall experience."

Volunteer Lauds Experience at DCVB

"Thank you for your time and attention while I was volunteering at the CVB. The information you shared with me was greatly appreciated. I enjoyed the projects I helped with and the staff made me feel welcomed, and most of all - useful."

Wayfinders a Boon to ArtsMarket 2011

"It seems appropriate at this time of giving thanks that I reach out to thank you all again for the wonderful job you did in volunteering for ArtsMarket 2011. The Conference organizers and delegates were very impressed by your professionalism and caring customer service - as indeed was I. As most of you know, this was the first time that ArtsMarket had been held in Durham - and the event was such a resounding success that plans are already underway to schedule the next Arts Market in Fall of 2013! A special thanks to Chelsey at the Durham CVB for her assistance in recruiting such great volunteers and I do hope I will have the pleasure to work with you all again in 2013."

Durham Wayfinders by Durham Wayfinder

“I am having such a great time volunteering at DPAC and Carolina Theatre - it is a perfect customer service outlet since I spend my days behind a desk as an accountant!"
