"The volunteers are kind, enthusiastic people who love Durham. They demonstrate a much higher level of reliability than volunteers recruited independently for single events. They are smart and learn quickly and are willing to do whatever needs to be done. It’s like having a private army of help that I can mobilize whenever I need!"

Museum of Life and Science Thankful for Volunteers
Happy New Year! I wanted to let you know that we were
overwhelmed (in a good way!) with the quantity and quality of volunteers we got
for Santa Train from the Wayfinders. They were outstanding, particularly
those who kept coming back the last week. I really appreciate the CVB
hosting Shiftboard to make it possible and your help spreading the word.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you all and thanks again
for being such a fabulous resource!

Durham News Service Recap A Well Written Email
"I appreciate how direct you were with the 'this is a recap, but... we update it all day long' communication. It's not easy to write stuff like this. Great job."

Museum of Life and Science is a Good Value
"The museum is wonderful for kids - so interactive and so many interesting things to do...The butterfly pavilion was especially popular with my family. We have kids aged 1 and 4 and there were things for both of them to do. I think this provides good value for the cost of admission, but be aware that it is in the network of science museums. Our Denver Musuem of Nature and Science membership got us into this museum for free."

Visitor Thinks MLS is a Great Museum
"Great museum [North Carolina Museum of Life and Science]! My daughter loved the butterfly garden and the music room where she could jump on the floor and play different musical notes! Highly recommended!"

Museum of Life and Science Visitor Loves it All!
“We did the train ride which was so much fun with the funniest conductor. Then off to the butterfly house which we loved and got to release lady bugs! Then it was off to the dino trail which was great for my future paleontologist. The wild life exhibits were great just right out in nature animals looked healthy and happy.”
